For something different, we are going to the movies!!  After many long years, Odysseus is arriving at a theater near us!  Yes, the tale of the Man of Many Wiles and his equally formidable queen Penelope is premiering in The Odyssey at the O'Neil Cinemas in Littleton.  

This star-studded film (Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway and more) tells the story of Odysseus' heroic and magical journey home after the Trojan War. 

One of our members, in the musical storytelling tradition of Homer himself, released her "dark and witty acoustica" CD based on the ancient Greek tale in 2003 (Charlene DiCalogero, Of Armor and Old Lies, Odyssey Songs Vol I). The Odyssey has inspired writers, singers, playwrights and filmmakers for thousands of years. Let its Siren magic entrance you!

Tickets for this 2:20 pm showing are $10 for the DLX presentation (with its extra large curved screen and surround sound, plus reclining seats).  If you attend, a CD can be yours too!  Movie run-time is 3 hours.  

Food and beverage can be purchased and delivered to your seat.  Cost is $10 for movie, plus any food purchased.
