For Current Nashoba Neighbors Volunteers Only
How Do Volunteers Drive the Success of Nashoba Neighbors?
Tuesday, December 8, 6:30pm - 8:00pm
at 19 Carter in the center of Berlin
by sending an email to volunteers@nashobaneighbors.org
Only an hour and a half - you'll find the gains from this session well-worth your time!
The purpose of the volunteer training is to meet your fellow volunteers and to understand how we work in concert - from a variety of volunteer roles - to ensure Nashoba Neighbors' success helping older adults continue to age at home while remaining engaged in our community.
We will touch on the following questions while watching video, talking in small groups, and working on activities together:
- Why are the Daily Call Volunteers considered "the hub" of the operation?
- What do the coordinator and their assistants and teams do "in the background"?
- What role does the board of directors play?
- How do our "direct-service volunteers" fit into the bigger picture?
- What is the connective tissue that holds all of us together?
Mark Tuesday, December 8 on your calendars and we'll look forward to seeing you at 6:30 at 19 Carter in Berlin! Remember to RSVP now!
